Today, Microsoft announced its biggest investment around 2.2B in Malaysia, to empower Malaysia with cloud and AI.
This investment includes, building digital infra, creating skilling opportunities, establishment of a national AI center of excellence, enhancing nation’s cyber security and overall supporting its overall AI transformation.
This investment will be done in next four-year time period to support Malaysia’s digital transformation.
This investment will be done:
- Building cloud and AI infra in Malaysia
- Creating AI upskilling opportunities for an additional 2 Lac people in Malaysia
- Excellence and enhance its cyber security measures
- Strengthening its relations with Malaysian Government
- Establishment of a national AI excellence center in Malaysia
- Supporting growth of Malaysia’s developer community
This investment has a potential to develop Malaysia as a cloud computing hub and related advanced technologies including Generative AI.
