Work from home v/s Work from office

During the pandemic, work from home trends have increased as it was a lot safer than going outside and facing tough situations.

  • Employees can save a lot of time and money in doing the work from home.
  • That time was really challenging, spending time with our family was less stressful
  • This also improved the performance of tasks.
  • The convenience level of employees was also increased by working at home.

But everything has its pros and cons, Let’s discuss:

  1. The office environment provides a more healthy work space where a person can concentrate more on his work while working from home a structured environment is missing.
  2. More flexibility is available at home as compared to the office because a person can work according to his schedules.
  3. More colleague or team interaction will be feasible at the office than at home and a bridge in communication will not be there.
  4. Working from home will help in saving time and money as transportation cost will be save.
  5. Any special requirement of any machine will be available at office while in home it’s not available.
  6. Well working from home disturbs routine and eating habits as studies say staying home and working officially increases your hunger.
  7. Working from home helps in managing both official and personal life in a balanced way. Therefore both have positive as well as negative impacts.
