Principle of Communication

Let’s take the rainbow of communication further, as in earlier post I told you that rainbow of communication is 7 c’s or we can say principal or guidelines of communication.

*Violet colour ( little colour but important one)

  1. Conciseness – as the word suggest concise itself means brief or short yet including all important information.
For example: if you message someone for birthday party you will only right venue, time, date that is a shortest form so the important information reaches to the receiver that save time and cost similarly in communication cut all the unnecessary information rather than only important one to be share
    • *Blue colour ( that always means clear) So the 2nd ‘C’ is
  2. Clarity The message we are sharing or the verbal conversation we are doing should be clear an appropriate and easily understood by receiver for example: if you are giving presentation on particular topic words should be clear (in Urdu we say Talafuz) so audience understand it clearly.
    • *Indigo (this colour always go with correctness)
  3. Correctness- THIS is 3rd ‘C’ of communication, correctness in language should be in a such a form that receiver interprets it rightly.
For example: if you are typing e-mail or letter correct language means no grammatical mistakes should be there, we should always check once before sending.
